With C# 6.0, you can control exceptions with a conditional if. See below for an example:

    //Code that creates an exception
catch (System.DllNotFoundException dllEx) if (version != 3.0)
// Conditional exception

In the example, an exception is thrown only if the value of the version variable is not equal to 3.0
