Language: Java, Expertise: Intermediate - Learn how to assign null value to an object of type Optional.

With Java version 8, there is an option to assign null value to an object of type Optional.

For example:

Optional optionalVar = Optional.ofNullable(null);
   //Optional.ofNullable() accepts a null value to be passed as parameter

Also, you can use optionalVar.isPresent() to check if the value is present. true is returned if the value is present.
